Scott Collins first noticed these unique Honeylocust thorns on a walk in the spring. As he marveled at the cross shaped thorns, he was reminded of the crown of thorns worn by Jesus Christ on the cross. After working with the thorns, he felt God showed him that 2 placed in just the right way made a crucifix shape which would memorialize Christ’s sacrifice on the cross for us. At that moment he decided that these thorn crosses should be shared to commemorate that sacrifice.
